For 30 years, soft-spoken chef Jimmy Lee Hill has run a highly regarded culinary training program out of a prison in Coldwater, Mich., offering incarcerated men a renewed sense of purpose through the craft of fine dining – everything from foie gras to lobster. The film follows Hill and three of his students as they struggle to adapt to different stages of incarceration, re-entry and redemption using food as a catalyst for positive change.
Tickets for this event are $8-$18 including fees ($4 fees for students, $10 fees for adults, $14 fees for an adult “Sponsor a Student”). Doors will open one hour prior to showtime.
