Short’s Old Fashioned Root Beer Drive-In

Short’ s Old Fashioned Root Beer Drive-In was originally B&K Root Beer,then becoming the Allen family for over 25 years. First generation Allen’ s owned and ran the restaurant for 17 seasons and the second generation owned and ran it for 8 seasons. In 2013 the newest owners from the area took over the reigns to keep this local treasure continuing to delight locals and visitors alike. It is a seasonal eatery opening in early Spring and closes in late October. Cruise-nights is on Monday nights. We can fit 18 cars under the canopy and we provide full carhop service, complete with frozen mugs of root beer.
