World-Renowned pianist Teresa Walters will bring her Musical Faith Journey Tour to Tibbits at the 2026 Smith Memorial Concert on Saturday, September 19 at 7pm.
Described by The New York Times as, “the International First Lady of Piano,” Teresa Walters is an international Steinway artist and gifted communicator. The Musical Faith Journey Tour is not a traditional piano recital but a dynamic mix of inspiring true stories, multi-media resources and original, interdenominational music. Teresa Walters takes the audience around the world sharing personal experiences and introducing international performances from her amazing life in music.
The Smith Memorial Benefit Concert is organized by Diane Smith Pridgeon and Susanne Smith Wise to honor their late family members, Ruth, Robert, Douglas and Dean Smith. Previous benefit concerts have supported the Coldwater High School Choral Department, Kellogg Community Choral Union’s Baltic Tour, Habitat for Humanity, Family Promise and other non-profits.

Tickets for this event range from $10-$20 including fees ($16+fees for adults and $6+fees for students 18 & under). Doors will open one hour prior to showtime and seating will begin 30 minutes prior to showtime. No outside food or drink allowed in the theatre. No recording of any kind.”
